以职工的健康在职业活动过程中免受有害因素侵害为目的，在对应工作领域采取一定的技术及措施，以及其在法律、技术、设备、组织制度和教育等方面制订的相应措施。

除尘
从含尘物体中去除颗粒物以减少其向大气排放或污染工作环境而采取的技术措施。
干式除尘/ dry dust removal /dry dust removal
干式除尘
采用干式除尘装置将粉尘以干态形式排出的净化方法。
湿式除尘/ wet dust removal /wet dust removal
湿式除尘
利用洗涤液（一般为水）与含尘气体充分接触，将尘粒洗涤下来使气体得到净化的方法。
除尘器/ dust collector /dust collector
除尘器
从含尘气体中分离和捕集烟尘、粉尘、炭粒、雾滴的装置。
